Johnny W. Speight honored Carolyn Ervin Horne for the “Excellent care she gave to our family.” Carolyn worked with the Speight family for two years. Carolyn is a Vascular Clinical Nurse Specialist in Greenville , North Carolina , and for many years has shown care and compassion for her patients. She has been a volunteer for the Foundation and wrote an article for Keeping in Circulation on smoking cessation. (Winter 2002 Vol. 2, No. 1)
