Saturnina Tan Chang - November 29, 1939 - September 30, 2008
Dr. Saturnina "Nina" Tan Chang passed into eternal rest on Sept. 30, 2008 at the age of 68. She suffered an acute type A aortic dissection on Sept. 17, 2008 while she was busy making preparations for her son's wedding.
She was born in Leyte, Philippines and emigrated to the United States in 1968 to serve her Internal Medicine internship in St. Louis and residency in New York. She eventually settled in Cumberland, MD where she compassionately took care of her patients. She loved so many people and the only things that brought her happiness were her family, friends, patients, and God. "Nina" will be missed by all of us who were fortunate enough to have met and be blessed by her.
