Marabeth Ann Fleming (nee Palmer), 67, known by her friends and family as Beth, passed away peacefully at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital on October 23, 2011 surrounded by her loved ones.
Beth graduated from Conard High School Class of 1962, where she enjoyed drama club and later participated in area theater groups.
Beth had four cherished children and was known for her warm heart, kind soul and willing ear. She explored her creativity by drawing and enjoyed reading, bird watching, musicals and listening to jazz music, especially Diana Krall. Although she was proud to have grown up in West Hartford she loved living on the coastline, particularly spending time at the beach. White Sands Beach in Old Lyme and Walnut Beach in Milford were two of her favorite spots to reflect and relax.
Beth's life was cut short by a battle with vascular disease. We have created this memorial fund to
honor Marabeth’s life and help the VDF in its efforts to increase awareness and education about
vascular related diseases.
