
Edward Kovac - November 21, 1949 - May 16, 2010
Edward Kovac, age 60 passed away on May 16, 2010 after a brave battle with many health problems. Edward suffered from Buerger’s Disease and the many complications associated with it. Ed was born November 21, 1949 in Fort William, Ontario to Peter and Helen Kovac.
Edward attended St. Elizabeth’s school and graduated from Selkirk High School. His working career was spent in many sales positions throughout the city. Ed was involved in many sports in his younger days. He really enjoyed attending all the sporting events that his children were involved in. He was extremely proud of both of them.
Edward is survived by daughter Kristen Kovac (Justin) and son Evan Kovac and their mother Cathy (Tony). Also survived by four sisters Shirley (Robert) Simpson, Charlotte MacLeod, Jacqueline (Ian) Dorfman, and Jocelyn Goodlad-Jones; Aunts Agnes Deleo, Arleen Kovac of Whitehorse, Yukon, Margaret Hartwich of St. Catherines and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Predeceased by parents Peter and Helen Kovac, grandparents, brother-in-law Donald MacLeod, nephew John Simpson and aunts and uncles.
