Join the VDF Board of Directors

The Vascular Disease Foundation (VDF) is seeking to diversity its 15 person Board of Directors. Our current board consists of individuals and health-care professionals who volunteer their time to VDF’s mission. They are responsible for governance of the organization and serve annual terms, renewable for up to a total of four years. Directors are expected to attend four meetings per year, actively participate in the organization and work to help VDF fulfill its mission. Applicants should submit a short letter addressing the following points:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • email address
  • A brief statement of why you would like to be on the VDF Board
  • Experiences in the field, other not-for-profit organizations or professional societies, industry and/or other relevant experience or expertise that you feel would be useful to VDF statement of your willingness to commit approximately fifteen days per year to Board meetings and other VDF business.
  • Other information you feel would be helpful to the Nominating Committee
  • Applicants should attach a curriculum vitae or resume if available.

only by the VDF nominating committee for this purpose.
